A polidactilia

A polidactilia  é un trastorno xenético onde un humano ou animal nace con máis dedos na man ou no pé dos que lle corresponde (polo regular un dedo máis).

Este trastorno pode ser causado por unha aberración cromosómica, como a síndrome de Patau (trisomía do par 13), pero tamén pode presentarse naturalmente por un só xene. É recomendable realizar polo menos un exame físico buscando outras alteracións que fagan sospeitar dalgún trastorno xenético.
